DESCRIPTION:Join us for Magic Hour\, an inclusive playtime in the library\, specially adapted for children with autism\, sensory processing challenges\, or who struggle in large groups. This program takes place on the fourth Tuesday of the month\, when the library will be opened especially for this group. It is a time set aside for children and their caregivers to have a wonderful time at the library when it is closed to everyone else. \nThis self guided play time will have sensory-sensitive toys available and the new play space will be open along with the entire Children’s area. We keep the lights low and use natural lighting\, computers are turned off\, and the doors are closed to reduce outside noise and help keep runners and wanderers safe.  \nIt’s a relaxed time to explore\, play\, and connect—free from the hustle and bustle of regular library hours. \n**** \nÚnase a nosotros para la Hora Mágica\, un tiempo de juego inclusivo en la biblioteca\, especialmente adaptado para niños con autismo\, procesamiento sensorial o que se sienten incómodos en grupos grandes. Este programa se lleva a cabo el cuarto martes de cada mes\, cuando la biblioteca abrirá exclusivamente para este grupo. DESCRIPTION:Santa Clara County Library District residents are eligible to register for this in-person ESL class led by a professional ESL instructor. This class session is for beginners. Join us to learn and improve your English listening and speaking skills. Space is limited so registration is recommended.  \nClasses are Monday and Wednesday evenings 6:30pm – 8:30pm from August 25 through November 19. There will be no class on September 1 or October 13. You should plan to attend the entire class session. This class will take place in-person at the Gilroy Library and is for adults. \n————————– \nLos residentes del Distrito de Bibliotecas del Condado de Santa Clara pueden inscribirse en esta clase presencial de inglés como segundo idioma (ESL) impartida por un instructor profesional.
