Together\, these organizations work to provide nutritious\, high-quality food to people facing food insecurity. Grounded in a real-world project\, the film addresses one of the most urgent challenges of contemporary society: food waste in a world where millions of people lack reliable access to food. It also engages with broader themes such as urban agriculture\, reconnection with nature\, and the principles of the Slow Food movement. Through a creative\, deeply human approach\, the initiative invites us to rethink our relationship with food and restore dignity to individuals living in vulnerable conditions. \nRodrigo Torres\, a Brazilian film curator based in Southern California\, introduces each film to provide context and to enhance the audience’s understanding. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in cinema and an MFA in Visual Arts and began his career in the camera department on movie sets.
