DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness meditation is a wonderful way to develop clarity\, discipline\, and perspective as well as improve your mental and physical health. Join online sessions with Phuong Pham\, a Buddhist nun experienced in the practice of meditation. Each session is 45 minutes of meditating together followed by 15 minutes of group sharing and Q&A led by Phuong. The group sharing and Q&A is a valuable part of the process\, so participants can reflect on the meditation session together and build community. It is open to all levels of experience. \nRegistration is required to receive the Zoom link. Please make sure your email address is entered correctly. Simmons. Her recent on-set credits include NBC’s This Is Us\, Hulu’s Paradise\, and Ryan Murphy’s Doctor Odyssey on ABC. Sarah also works privately with professional actors preparing for major TV\, film\, and theatre roles — including coaching a main cast member of Ozark for their Season 3 scenes. Based in Los Angeles\, Sarah has led her on-camera and online acting studio for over 20 years\, supporting both emerging talent and established performers in bringing their most authentic work to the screen. \nInstructor: Matt Pittenger. SUMMARY:Mindfulness Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Come and improve your mental and physical health in mindfulness meditation sessions led by Phuong Pham. Each session is 45 minutes of sitting and/or walking meditation followed by 15 minutes of group sharing and Q&A. It is open to all levels of experience and no registration is required. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and/or meditation cushions. Chairs are available for those who do not bring them. \nPhuong is a Buddhist nun experienced in leading mindfulness meditation.
