SUMMARY:STEAM Sunday: Leaf Art & Science
DESCRIPTION:‘Tis the season for falling leaves\, but have you ever inspected a leaf up close? What’s it made of? Why do they change colors and fall off trees anyway? \nExplore these questions and more while creating leaf art in this STEAM Sunday. Through leaf rubbings we’ll be able to learn about and capture the parts of a leaf. After learning about a topic\, the experimentation and note taking parts of the scientific process will be conducted through a craft. Everyone will go home with a finished project and better understand of each chosen topic. \nBest for youth ages 5-12.
