DESCRIPTION:Help the Friends of Bascom Library with their book sale. This is a Volunteer Away Your Fines opportunity! \nPlease note\, our shifts on Friday\, November 7 from 2:00-5:00 PM and Saturday\, November 8 from 1:00-4:00 PM are when the Friends most need volunteer assistance. \nThe work will involve lifting and transporting boxes of books\, which can be heavy\, as well as organizing books by category. The Friends will handle purchase transactions. Working part of a shift is acceptable. \nSigning a one-time Volunteering Signature Form will be required (unless you have already been onboarded as an SJPL volunteer). Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age (if you are under 18\, both you and your parent or guardian must sign the Volunteering Signature Form). \nWe suggest that you bring a full water bottle with you\, since the weather may be hot. \nRegister to receive a reminder and instructions 24 hours before volunteering. \nADA Accommodation Requests
