As a leader\, Dr. Johnson is a fierce advocate for health equity\, healing justice\, equitable community engagement\, and radical imagination. \nDr. Johnson is Assistant Vice Chancellor and Chief of Staff in the Division of Equity & Inclusion at UC Berkeley. They are also the Founding Director of the Justice Fleet\, a mobile social justice museum that fosters healing through art dialogue and play\, and co-founder of The Institute for Healing Justice and Equity\, where they specialize in humanizing equity and exploring the relationship between healing justice and equity. \n \nAs a former award-winning Professor of Communication and Social Justice at Saint Louis University\, Amber has earned a number of awards rooted in their research\, art\, and activism.
