DESCRIPTION:Designed for middle school students\, this class focuses on more advanced chess strategies and tactics. Participants will strengthen critical thinking and teamwork while enjoying a challenging and interactive learning experience. This class series is for students in sixth to eighth grade.  \n \nThis program is presented by our partners at XFYD Bay Area – Milpitas High School and is a 14-part weekly class series. Registration is required and covers all 14 sessions. This journey includes a cruise in Auckland’s harbor\, a stop at the International Antarctic Centre in Christchurch\, a boat trip on Akaroa Harbour spotting dolphins\, and a cruise on the Piopiotahi/Milford Sound.  \n Learn about Road Scholar\, a non-profit\, educational travel organization that inspires older adults to learn\, discover\, and travel.
