Bring your favorite game or show up to learn some new ones. \nWe will be meeting in the Milpitas Auditorium\, open to ages 18+ from 10am-6:30pm. \nOnline registration is encouraged but not required. \nNOTE: In 2025\, we will be meeting every second Saturday except for April (moved to 5th) and September (moved to 13th). Recommended for ages 10+ \nWith Lab PCs donated by our local community\, you will learn: \n\nComponents needed to assemble a working computer\nHow to plan out and shop for a new/used computer components\nHow to assemble a PC without damaging components\n\nClass Breakdown: \n\nPresentation on minimum necessary components and their functions\nStudents/families (in small groups) will be given an assortment of components to reassemble into a working computer\nStart them up and troubleshoot any problems\n\nThanks to our patrons and staff for their computer donations!! \n\nMy Qualifications:I’ve built my own computers for more than 30 years. My parents worked at IBM and would always bring home new components. I have a valid/active CompTIA A+ certification and a valid/active Cisco Certified Network Associate Certificate. \n\nADA Accommodation Requests
