DESCRIPTION:Come and improve your mental and physical health in mindfulness meditation sessions led by Phuong Pham. Each session is 45 minutes of sitting and/or walking meditation followed by 15 minutes of group sharing and Q&A. It is open to all levels of experience and no registration is required. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and/or meditation cushions. Chairs are available for those who do not bring them. \nPhuong is a Buddhist nun experienced in leading mindfulness meditation. Spend an hour designing\, building\, and programming a real robot using LEGO SPIKE Prime or Essential kits. You’ll get hands-on engineering experience with motors\, sensors\, and creative problem-solving. This presentation is the perfect way to introduce the high-level idea of LEGO Robotics engineering. No pressure. Just bring your imagination\, play\, learn and engineer. \nFollowed by a demonstration\, attendees will break into groups to assemble a LEGO set together then write simple code to operate tablets. \n13 tablets and LEGO kits will be provided\, allowing for groups of up to 3 children per tablet. \nAges 6-13. \n39 free tickets will be distributed on a first-come\, first-served basis 30 minutes before the program. Please come to the First Floor Program Room to pick up your tickets starting at 1:30 p.m.  \nNote: To manage attendance\, we will be implementing a ticketing system on a trial basis instead of pre-registration. This system will prioritize access for customers who are present in the building\, helping to ensure that every seat is filled and to minimize no-shows from the registration list.
