Music and Movement is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family that promotes the joys of learning for all ages. Kindergarten through 8th grade students can come to Edenvale Branch Library’s Homework Club to get coached by trained library volunteers. Students can get free help with their homework in subjects such as reading\, writing\, math\, and social studies!​ \nHomework Club at Edenvale Branch Library is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM\, except for the following dates because of City holidays and school breaks: \n\nOctober 7th and 9th\n\nHomework Club will take a break for the winter right after the Thanksgiving Break and resume in January 2026. The schedule for the Spring semester will be determined and posted closer to the start of December. \nFree. No registration is required; however\, Homework Club has a limited capacity. Services will be provided on a first-come\, first-served basis. As a result\, students might not be coached one-on-one for the whole duration of the program depending on volunteer availability. If we do not have enough tutors\, students will be redirected to Tutor.com\, a library resource. \nADA Accommodation Requests

You can volunteer away your library fines at a rate of $20 per hour while helping the library maintain a clean and welcoming environment.  \nVolunteers will be responsible for: \n\nBook cover cleaning – Use disinfecting wipes to reinvigorate dingy books.\nBookshelves – Dust shelves and organize library materials.\nDeep cleaning computers – Use disinfecting wipes to disinfect computer mice and mouse pads and compressed air to remove any dust particles or debris.\nMaterial inspection – Check books for torn pages\, pen marks\, etc.\n\nThis is a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in volunteering away their library fines. \nDetails and Requirements: \n\nMust be able to commit to the full session\nAnyone under the age of 15 must volunteer alongside a parent/guardian\nNo experience or special skills necessary\nTraining and supplies will be provide\nMust arrive no later than 10 minutes late.    \n\nPlease register online or ask for assistance by calling/visiting our Information Desk.
