Kindergarten through 8th grade students can come to Edenvale Branch Library’s Homework Club to get coached by trained library volunteers. Students can get free help with their homework in subjects such as reading\, writing\, math\, and social studies!​ \nHomework Club at Edenvale Branch Library is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM\, except for the following dates because of City holidays and school breaks: \n\nOctober 7th and 9th\n\nHomework Club will take a break for the winter right after the Thanksgiving Break and resume in January 2026. The schedule for the Spring semester will be determined and posted closer to the start of December. \nFree. No registration is required; however\, Homework Club has a limited capacity. Services will be provided on a first-come\, first-served basis. DESCRIPTION:Reading Buddies provides students in grades K–5 with the opportunity to strengthen their reading skills by working one-on-one with a friendly reading coach. This program creates a positive and supportive reading experience for beginning and developing readers\, helping children build confidence and fluency. \nOur reading coach listens as children read\, offering encouragement and support in phonics\, sight words\, and comprehension. Students may bring a favorite book from home or select one from the library’s collection to read aloud. \nReading sessions are available on a first-come\, first-served basis.  The length of each session may be limited depending on the number of participating students and/or available volunteers. \nFree.
