DESCRIPTION:**The Mindfulness Meditation program on October 25 is cancelled. It will return on November 1.** \nCome and improve your mental and physical health in mindfulness meditation sessions led by Phuong Pham. Each session is 45 minutes of sitting and/or walking meditation followed by 15 minutes of group sharing and Q&A. It is open to all levels of experience and no registration is required. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and/or meditation cushions. Chairs are available for those who do not bring them. \nPhuong is a Buddhist nun experienced in leading mindfulness meditation. DESCRIPTION:Get ready for Día de los Muertos by making a sugar skull!  \nIn this multi-session program\, participants will learn to make and then decorate sugar skulls using traditional and modern materials.  \nIn the first session\, using a special sugar mixture and premade molds\, we’ll create the parts needed for a sugar skull.  \nIn the next session\, after the sugar skulls have cured\, we’ll connect the sugar skull pieces and decorate them with foil\, sequins\, paint\, and more! Once decorated\, the sugar skulls will be ready to display on your home altar or community ofrenda.  \nPlease note: creating sugar skulls is a multi-day process.
