DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness meditation is a wonderful way to develop clarity\, discipline\, and perspective as well as improve your mental and physical health. Join online sessions with Phuong Pham\, a Buddhist nun experienced in the practice of meditation. Each session is 45 minutes of meditating together followed by 15 minutes of group sharing and Q&A led by Phuong. The group sharing and Q&A is a valuable part of the process\, so participants can reflect on the meditation session together and build community. It is open to all levels of experience. \nRegistration is required to receive the Zoom link. Please make sure your email address is entered correctly. DESCRIPTION:Teens 13-18 are invited to the Bascom Teens Reach Canned Food Drive!  \nBring canned food to be donated to the needy. No more than ten (10) cans per person\, please. Refreshments will be available! \nTeens are invited to join Bascom Library Teens Reach in-person every 3rd Tuesday of the month. This program features fun volunteer opportunities\, craft activities\, games\, and chances to hang out with your peers and learn new skills and information. \nTo join Teens Reach you must be 13-18 years of age\, have a strong interest in the library\, enjoy working with people of all ages and cultures\, and be willing to learn new skills. Membership requires regular attendance at meetings\, participation in and support of library activities and events\, and a sense of fun and adventure.
