SUMMARY:*Virtual* ESL Idioms
DESCRIPTION:If you’re interested in building your English skills to sounds like a native speaker\, join us to learn idioms and why they are so important to your English language learning. Idioms may seem complicated at first\, but they can actually be a lot of fun to learn. \nAn idiom is an expression\, word\, or phrase that has a figurative meaning. The meaning of idioms is NOT obvious from the individual words. Idioms are word combinations that have a different figurative meaning than the literal meanings of each word or phrase. \nRegistration is required to receive a Zoom link and password. \nPlease note that this program does not take place on the third Wednesday of each month. \n*Participants have the option to come into the Biblioteca Latinoamericana Branch to get tech support in order to be able to participate in this program. Please email Mercedes Diaz\, mercedes.diaz@sjlibrary.org\, or call (408) 294-1237 in advance. \nADA Accommodation Requests
