Learn to Code: Intro to Scratch

Join us for an exciting journey into coding with MIT’s Scratch, using library provided computers.
Your child will dive into the colorful, drag-and-drop world of Scratch – MIT’s kid-friendly programming platform that makes coding as fun as building with digital LEGO blocks.
Children may bring their own tablets or laptops, but this is not required.
This is a one-hour introduction to the Scratch environment. Children will make an account on the Scratch website.
This is for new Scratch users only; we will be running through the basics.
Free. Registration is required and starts one week before each class. Ages 8-12 only.
