Native American Song and Dance Celebration

November 16 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Future Generations is a cultural collaboration of Native American singers, dancers, and artists from the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Guided by our mission to honor our ancestors and their teachings through cultural expressions of the past, present, and future, we strive to educate the public about the songs, dances, art, food, and traditions of the Indigenous Peoples of America.

The group was founded to promote and celebrate the beauty and heritage of Native American social dance and singing styles, commonly showcased at Pow Wows. By sharing the richness of our culture, we aim to foster resilience, empowerment, and leadership both individually and collectively within our communities.

This program is part of the Santa Clara County Library District’s celebration of Native American Heritage Month.

For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+days prior to the event. If you need assistance with the form, speak with a staff member at your local library, call (408) 540-3945, or email us at ask@lib.sccgov.org.
