Banned Books & Brews

SJPL will be closing out our Banned Books Week celebration at a special event hosted at Clandestine Brewing called Banned Books & Brews.

This event is in partnership with the San Jose Public Library Foundation and will feature:

• Banned Books Trivia
• Storytime for Kids
• Brewery Tours by Clandestine Brewing
• A Banned Books Fair 
• Music
• Other exciting surprises!

Program schedule:

• Noon – Doors open
• 12:30 p.m. – Storytime
• 1 p.m. – Banned Book Trivia
• 1:30 p.m. – Brewery Tour
• 2 p.m. – Storytime with Clifford the Big Red Dog
• 2:30 p.m. – Banned Book Trivia
• 3 p.m. – Brewery Tour
• 4 p.m. – Food Truck (Slanging Dough Pizza)
• 6 p.m. – Program ends (books available until 10 p.m.)
• Happening All Day:
  • Book Fair, Art Show by Jimmy Paints, and Slanging Dough Pizza Food Truck
