Adult Literacy Volunteer Tutor Training with SCCLD's The Reading Program

The Reading Program, Santa Clara County Library District’s adult literacy program, is seeking volunteer tutors to work one-on-one with adults looking to improve their reading, writing, and communication skills.
Important Notes:
- Volunteers that have completed the required Tutor Orientation are welcome to register for one of our Tutor Training sessions.
- Once you submit your event registration, you will receive a confirmation email that will include:
- A link to complete your Reading Program Tutor Intake Form. You must submit both the event registration and the Tutor Intake Form in order to attend the Training.
- A virtual meeting Zoom link to attend both of the required Training sessions.
In the case you have not yet attended an Orientation:
- Please review the tutor requirements on our website and, if interested, register for one of our upcoming Tutor Orientations on our website.
- If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled sessions or missed a recent one, please email us at readingprogram@lib.sccgov.org or call us (408) 262-1349, and we may be able to offer an alternative option.
