Do you have questions or need assistance with technology? At the Almaden Branch you can make a 30-minute appointment to assist you with:
- Learning to use Libby (formerly Overdrive) to read ebooks and listen to e-audiobooks
- Accessing non-Overdrive eBooks and audiobooks from Boundless, CloudLibrary, and Enki
- Using Hoopla to read, listen and watch
- Accessing the New York Times and/or the San Jose Mercury News online
- Accessing and searching Consumer Reports
- Learning a new language with Mango
- Connecting to Wi-Fi/hotspots
- Using Discover & Go to reserve free or reduced tickets to local museums and attractions
- Navigating the SJPL website
- Checking out a 7-day pass to access Great Courses from Libby or Hoopla
- Using the library’s pay-to-print system
- Walking you through a Digital Skills Building Pathways lesson
