Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a hands-on Chinese calligraphy workshop! The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional event that brings families together to exchange presents and enjoy a sense of togetherness. Discover the art of written Chinese calligraphy and add artistic beauty to the occasion.
Whether you're a beginner or have experience, you will learn how to hold the brush, master basic strokes, and create calligraphic artwork while embracing the festive spirit. This workshop welcomes participants of all skill levels, so immerse yourself in the essence of traditional Chinese calligraphy and bring elegance to your Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.
Free tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes before the program. Please come to the First Floor Program Room to pick up your tickets starting at 6:00 p.m.
Note: To manage the cost of supplies, we will be implementing a ticketing system on a trial basis instead of pre-registration. This system will prioritize access for customers who are present in the building, helping to ensure that every seat is filled and to minimize no-shows from the registration list.
This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Mountain View Library.
