Join Smithsonian professionals Adrián Aldaba and Emily Key as they discuss Nuestra América, a richly illustrated book that highlights inspiring stories of Latinos—their cultural roots, childhoods, and impactful contributions to U.S. history. With a glossary, discussion guide, and ties to the National Museum of the American Latino’s landmark exhibition ¡Presente!, this engaging resource invites readers of all ages to explore and celebrate Latino heritage as an essential part of the American story.

The free, virtual series is open to the public and takes place two to three times a month. All author talks will include the opportunity to ask the author questions. Click here for a complete list of upcoming events in this series.
