Memorizing and reciting poetry is a rewarding practice for poets, poetry lovers, and anyone who needs a break from being busy.
Join Cupertino Poet Laureate Keiko O’Leary in this fun and interactive workshop.
You’ll discover the many ways learning poems by heart can enrich your life, and Keiko will share her top tips that make memorizing poems faster and easier.
Make friends and improve your poetry skills! Teens and adults are welcome.
About your workshop leader:
Keiko O’Leary has been writing poems since the sixth grade and has seen the value of poetry to enhance life for over 30 years. She has published many poems and is the author of Your Writing Matters: 34 Quick Essays to Get Unstuck and Stay Inspired. Keiko is dedicated to passing on the legacy of poetry to the next generation of poets.
